Privacy Policy
Horizon Acquisition Group LLC
Last updated: 14 October 2026 · Version 1.4
In plain language, before the detail
We are a lead generation agency. Businesses hire us to find them customers.
If you filled in a form on one of our pages, here is the short version of what happens:
We collected your details — not the business whose name and logo you saw on the page.
We pass your details to that business, and they will contact you.
Both of us then hold a copy, and we are each responsible for our own copy. If you ask us to stop, we stop, and we tell them — but we cannot delete their copy for you.
Your details are stored on computers outside Canada, in the United States, Ireland, Germany and the United Kingdom.
You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, free.
If instead you came to our own website — to read about us, to book a call with us, or to pay us — then none of that passing-on applies. We do not give your details to anyone else. Section 2A says what we collect in that case and why.
The rest of this policy says the same things more precisely, because we have to. If anything here is unclear, write to our Privacy Officer and we will explain it properly.

We are the organisation that collects your information. Our pages often carry the branding of the business we are finding customers for, because that is who you will be dealing with. But the form itself is ours, the information goes to us first, and we are accountable for it. Our name appears on every page for that reason.
2. What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need for a stated purpose, and we do not collect anything we do not use.
Your name — so the business can address you properly.
Your email address — to confirm your enquiry and, if you chose email, to contact you.
Your company name — only where the enquiry is a business one, and only if you choose to give it.
Your phone number — only if you asked to be contacted by phone. If you chose email, this is not required.
How you prefer to be contacted — so you are contacted the way you asked to be.
What you are looking for — so the business can help you properly.
The date and time you submitted the form, and which form it was — so we have a record of what you agreed to.
If you booked an appointment, we also hold the date and time you chose.
We do not collect information about your health, your finances, or anything else beyond what the form shows you.
2A. If you came to us through our own website
Section 2 describes the forms we run for the businesses who hire us. Our own website is different, and nothing you give us there is passed to anyone else. It collects in three ways.
Booking a call. When you book a call, the scheduling form on our website collects your name, your email address, the time you chose, and, if you choose to give them, your business name and location. It is provided by HubSpot, and it is stored in our HubSpot account in the United States. The booking calendar is also protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that you are a person and not an automated program; to do that, Google receives your internet address and information about how you used the page. The calendar does not load at all until you ask for it. We use what you give us to hold the meeting, to prepare for it by looking up publicly available information about your business, and to follow up about it.
Paying. When you pay through our website, your card details are collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of the payment — the amount, the date, and the package you bought — for our accounts and for tax.
Visiting. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives your internet address when you visit, so it can deliver the page and protect the site from attacks, and it records basic technical information about visits, such as the pages viewed and the browser used. It does not use cookies to do this and it does not create a lasting identifier for you.
3. Who we give it to
We give your information to the specific business named on the page you filled in. That business is named there — not described vaguely — so you know who will contact you before you decide to submit anything.
We do not sell your information. We do not give it to anyone else. If you gave your details for one business, we do not pass them to a different one, reuse them in another campaign, or add you to any other list. If we ever wanted to, we would have to ask you again.
You can ask us which businesses have received your information, and we will tell you.
4. Where your information is stored — including the part most policies leave out
Your information is stored and processed outside Canada. Our main service providers are in the United States and Ireland. We use these providers to run our customer records and our web pages. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare’s worldwide network, so the page you ask for may come from a Cloudflare server near you. The service we use to send email also uses providers in Germany and the United Kingdom. Where you pay us, our payment processor Stripe also uses service providers in other countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, India, the Philippines, Japan, Australia and countries in the European Union; Stripe publishes its current list at stripe.com/legal/service-providers.
While your information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of those countries. That means it may be accessed by the courts, law enforcement agencies, and national security authorities of those countries, under their laws, without us being told.
We are telling you this at the point where you give us your information, not buried in a document you would never read, because that is what we think you are owed.
5. Your consent
We ask for your permission before we pass your details to the business named on the page. That is the tick-box on the form. It is never ticked for you, it is never bundled together with agreeing to anything else, and you do not have to tick it — but if you do not, we cannot pass your enquiry on, which is the whole point of the form.
You can withdraw your permission at any time. See section 7.
6. How long we keep it
Your enquiry and contact details — 3 years from your last contact with us, then deleted.
Records of what you consented to and when — 3 years after our business relationship ends.
A record that you asked us not to contact you — kept indefinitely, and the paragraph below says why.
Any information used to make a decision that affected you — at least 1 year, so you have a real chance to ask to see it.
A record of a payment you made to us — 7 years, because we are required to keep accounting records.
Why the do-not-contact record is kept forever. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we have to remember that, permanently — otherwise a future campaign could contact you again and we would have broken our promise and the law at the same time. So when you ask to be deleted, we delete your marketing record but keep the minimum needed to make sure you are never contacted again — usually just your email address on a suppression list, and nothing else. We will tell you when we do this.
7. Your rights — and the one thing we cannot do for you
You can, at any time and free of charge:
Ask what we hold about you.
Ask us to correct anything wrong.
Ask us to delete your information.
Withdraw your consent and tell us to stop contacting you.
Ask which businesses received your information.
Write to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 calendar days.
Now the important part, and we want to be straight about it.
When we pass your details to a business, that business holds its own copy, under its own control and its own privacy policy. We are each separately responsible for our own copy, and neither of us can answer for the other.
If you tell us to stop, we stop, and we stop passing your details to anyone. We will also forward your request to the business that received them, the same day. But we cannot delete their copy for you, and we will not pretend otherwise. To have their copy deleted, you need to contact them directly — and if you ask us, we will tell you exactly who they are and how to reach them.
8. If something goes wrong
If your information is ever lost, stolen, or accessed by someone who should not have it, and there is a real risk that it could cause you meaningful harm, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can, and we will report it to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We keep a record of every such incident for at least two years, whether or not it had to be reported.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, write to our Privacy Officer at [email protected] first — we would rather fix it directly.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or, if you are in British Columbia, to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the version number and the date at the top, and keep a record of previous versions.
Version 1.0 — 5 September 2026 — first published.
Version 1.1 — 21 September 2026 — added section 2A, covering what our own website collects when you book a call, pay us, or visit, including the booking calendar and the reCAPTCHA that protects it. Widened section 4 to name the countries our payment processor uses.
Version 1.2 — 24 September 2026 — added Germany and the United Kingdom, where the service we use to send email also uses providers.
Version 1.3 — 27 September 2026 — section 2A: booking a call now also collects your business name and location if you give them, and we use them to prepare for the call.
Version 1.4 — 14 October 2026 — section 2A and section 4: our website moved from Framer to Cloudflare.
